IN JAN House Interior Design

Architecture and interior form a single composition within IN JAN House, a private residence in Vilnius, Lithuania. The interior design extends the architectural character of the house through sculptural geometry, a rich material palette and original bespoke pieces. A sweeping staircase introduces a fluid gesture within the precise geometry of the surrounding space. Its curved profile finds echoes in the ceiling compositions and furniture silhouettes, establishing a rhythm that connects the rooms. The pronounced veining of natural stone brings movement to broad surfaces, while timber panelling and soft textiles lend warmth and intimacy. Light reveals the depth of these textures and accentuates the transitions between curved and planar forms. Bespoke furniture is conceived in relation to the proportions of each space, contributing to its identity through silhouette, material and craftsmanship. Together, these elements create a home whose character is expressed both in the scale of its architecture and in the intimacy of its furnishings.
